When I shoot my wardrobe posts I just want to have fun with it. They're not overly posed or statuesque; they're just me but I try to select pictures that best show the look. This is why I love the behind the scenes images taken by Ray Fiasco because they capture the moments which may not be the best for a wardrobe post but just show a different side of what it is like shooting for my blog. Hope you enjoy these images and edits by Ray. Layering is always a must during the winter but I am really enjoying the different textures that are popping up this season; from fuzzy jumpers to fun faux fur, buy more about rich textures are everywhere this winter. Texture doesn’t just mean the fabric either- you can create texture through layering and prints too. Mess around with the proportions of your look instead of playing it safe. Chunky scarfs are fun but I would instead opt for a coat with a statement collar, similar to those of Acnes infamous winter pieces or over sized knitted turtle-neck to create volume. Instead of your Kate Moss skinnies, try a pair of tailored jogging bottoms for a super slouchy feel and team it with a sweeping, long, statement wool coat for a Jil Sanderesque touch. Below are the images that make up my mental mood board of winter stylings and shapes! Winter may be bitter but no one said it couldn’t be fun ;). Here are my favourite pieces for the winter.
