It was a beautiful day yesterday so I was super happy to trek to Brick Lane in East London for a shoot for some fresh images in my book. My book is so black and white at the moment so I asked my booker if I could have some fresh pictures- that how I ended up being shot by the amazing Shannon Tao! We did three or so looks in various locations from her bedroom to a street in East. I loved shooting outside in the sun as I'm so used to being cooped up in a studio all day or being cold- the last outdoor shoot I had was for River Island and it was snowing and raining! Here are a few sneak peak pictures from my shoot; will put up the actual pictures when I get them :) IMG_1527 IMG_1530     IMG_1549 It was a beautiful day yesterday so I was super happy to trek to Brick Lane in East London for a shoot for some fresh images in my book. Although I have been to Milan once before, seek it was the first time I had been there for a shoot so I was pretty excited! It was also the first time I would meet my new agency out there called Monster Management which I was also very happy about! Of course, me being Leomie, I completely forgot to check the weather the day before and just packed jeans and a jumper... yeah, it was 27 degrees. The vibe of the country is so different to that of London with everyone looking super tanned and the older women ¬†wearing trainers and trousers whilst smoking cigarettes and rocking giant brown sunglasses- very italian! I dropped my bags at the hotel, changed into the only tee I brought, then jumped in a taxi to my agency. My agency in Milan is amazing and I love my bookers there; they wanted to do a video of me for their website straight away (which you can watch here) so I got to see the surrounding area a lot more. photo-16 photo-17 photo-15 After an uneasy sleep due to the heat I woke up and headed to the studio where my shoot would be held at 8am. Not every studio is a white room with lights and high tech equipment by the way, they can be literally any type of building where it's safe (enough) to shoot; The building I shot in used to be a factory where they made aeroplanes- totally random. The shoot had several different themes and they aimed to shoot 10 different looks (the editorial will be around 16 pages with a chance of one of the images being a cover) and I was shooting with a lovely model from Lithuania. It was a fun shoot and I was happy that we got to shoot one of the looks outside, unfortunately I was wearing a shirt with a padded jumper on top and some jeans... oh yes and a hat lol! It was a really fun shoot and the team made me feel really comfortable and welcome. Cannot wait to go back and see my agency again- will be there this summer for fashion week! photo 1-5 photo 2-5 photo-14 photo-13
