This weeks Trend Spot is all about the most essential item that we all pack when going on holiday; forget the sun tan lotion, side effects it is all about the swimwear- I mean who wants to get caught wearing the same bikini twice?! I have selected three key styles of swimwear (a style for every body shape too) because we all love variety when it comes to the poolside attire. The One Piece. I would say that over the past few years the term "more is more" has come in to play when it comes to swimwear with 1950's inspired one piece swimming costumes coming back into fashion. However, its not about the polka dot print anymore but a more modern take on the cult favourite with risqué styles and cut out details. My favourite swimwear brand right now is Minimale Animale who have recently appeared in Iggy Azealias music video 'Work' where she sported the nude and blue version on one piece number two. ONEPIECE   1. River Island/ ASOS, £25 2. Minimale Animale, $285 3. & Other Stories, £29   High Waisted. High Waisted bikinis are perfect for all different body types as they create the elusion of a smaller waist for those with boyish figures as well as complimenting those with more curvy bodies. The only annoying thing with these is of course tan lines- wear your high waisted bikinis at the latter stage of your holiday to avoid uneven tanning! I love the strap detailing of bikini number two but I would love it in all black or with blue instead of red- if I get this bikini I would consider dying it. high waisted   1. Andrea Iyamah, $95.99 2. Topshop, £32 3. Mouille Grecian, £89   Bandeau. Bandeau bikinis have always been popular and compliment both large and small breasts. I love mixing and matching bandeaus with clashing bikini bottoms as I love block print when it comes to summer style. If you have a boyish figure you can team a bandeau top with high waisted bottoms- Topshop and ASOS are the best for selling separate tops and bottoms. bandeaubikini   1. ASOS, £30 2. Topshop, £22 3. ASOS, £22 On Thursday I attended the best fashion party I have been to this year! The clothing store Warehouse held their first summer party and it was actually the perfect way to kick off the season with the music pouring out of the venue and massive balloons bobbing around. I took my friend Shannon with me to this event and I'm so happy as it was the best example of a fun fashion event! They had unlimited burgers being served out of an American ambulance provided by Meat Liquor, more about  custom balloon hats by the amazing Twistina, what is ed manicures by Nail Girls and a wicked performance by A*M*E who sang one of my favourite songs of the summer, symptoms 'Need You 100'! Not to mention the sick music before and after and the pick 'n' mix and drinks. Basically, it was just a dream. Can everyone just take a minute to appreciate the sheer amazingness of my balloon hat? You can ask Twistina to make you virtually anything and she will do it with a smile on her face! It was an amazing party by an amazing brand and I can't wait for the next one (I'm pushing for karaoke)! image image photo 4 Dont hate on my mini me xoxo photo 2 photo 1 Oh hey there shannon photo 2 Dionne Bromfield and A*M*E photo 1 A*M*E performing photo 3
