After my casting today I decided to visit my favourite store '& Other Stories' on Regent Street and the first thing that caught my eye was this scuba fabric, page laser cut jacket. I love structured collarless jackets with strong cuts and shapes so I immediately fell in love with this piece. I also bought yet another neoprene clutch but this one is big enough for my iPad and is also reversible so you get to fun shades in one bag! You can find these purchases here. DSC08424 copy DSC08425 DSC08429 At 7 am this morning I jumped in a car and was driven to Burgess Park in Camberwell to shoot for River Islands website! We pulled up behind the massive tour bus looking thing (called a winnebago lol) and I began mentally preparing myself for what I would be doing today. It was about 1 degree or less today and we would not only be shooting outside but also be shooting festival wear aka shorts and t-shirts with a thin jacket if you're lucky haha! It was me, sale another girl named Elouise and two male models called Toby and Simone and luckily we all really got on because we had to act like a bunch of cool kids together hanging out during summer. This was a challenge as it actually snowed a lot during the day and if it wasn't snowing the wind was icy and poor elouise was in the tiniest shorts for a lot of the shots! My first two looks were a lot of bare leg and a crop top too- I was so cold I had to laugh! With jobs like this the atmosphere between everyone on set is crucial and I am happy to say that I loved every minute working with these guys! Even though we were all freezing the banter was genuine and helped take my mind off of how mad I must have looked to the kids in the playground (err but how mad are those kids to be out in the snow out of their own free will anyway?) and I really enjoyed my day! I took loads of behind the scenes snaps for you guys so you could see what it was like for me shooting with a group of models on such a mad day! Look out for the shoot on the river Island website soon and I guarantee you will not know that the pictures were shot in the snow and sleet of Camberwell! photo 1 My legs out for the first look! photo 1 Me and Tobyyyyy photo 2 About to have fun on the zip wire photo 1 getting ready to shoot our last look! photo 5 photo 2 photo 5 photo 2 Let off the smoke grenade! photo 2 Freezing on the zip wire... still so much fun photo 1 photo 1Me being caught like a ball
