I am a big fan of street wear with high fashion references so a designer that caught my eye recently was Les Plus Dorés. The have created a line of limited edition jersey style t-shirts which pay homage to high fashion designers such as Tisci from Givenchy and Mr. Martin Margiela. I love what these t-shirts represent as high fashion and street culture have always been entwinded from Biggie rapping about his love for Versace to Graffiti artist John Crash Matos teaming with luxury luggage designer Tumi. These t-shirts are so simple but the statement is clear and by creating a limited number of each of the sell out pieces it refers back to the high fashion element once again- street wear but in limited numbers and in popular demand just like the designers they reference.   I am a big fan of street wear with high fashion references so a designer that caught my eye recently was Les Plus Dorés. I have always wanted to start a blog but was really half hearted about it and became bored with using the conventional blog format. Even though some of my favourite blogs have the simple blog format I really wanted to make something that looked different but still contained the content I wanted to talk about. I came up with the idea of going to my friend @chikechiejine who is a web designer and getting him to create a site which was colourful, interactive and fun to browse and began writing up pieces for it.

It took me about three weeks to think of a name and I brainstormed every other day trying to think of something that suited what I was doing and was catchy and memorable. Finally after realising that so many ideas I had thought of were already taken I decided I had to just get random and thats when Cracked China Cup was born! I liked the idea of the cup being cracked therefore spilling all its content because that is kind of what I am aiming to do on this blog so I began drawing up my logo. The idea came to me almost straight after deciding on the name but it took a while for it to look how it does now. I knew I wanted my blog to be fun to explore especially on handheld devices such as tablets and smart phones and have features that I see on my favourite websites (usually online shopping ones haha) so I asked @chikechiejine to put in a drop down menu dedicated to my outfit posts and have loads of video content planned which I hope everyone will enjoy!

After about two and a half months of meetings with the web designer and drafting posts I am finally here! I am so overwhelmed by the amount of people subscribing to my blog and I really hope you guys enjoy it! P.S- Feel free to comment on my posts and I really appreciate feedback as I am new to this! Thanks so much! Leomie x
