Givenchy is one of my favourite designers as they have got the combination of street wear and high fashion down to a tee; this collection was no different. I am in love with the S/S 13 mens collection; the shapes and imagery are both bold and simple with the use of religious imagery such as the Madonna being the successor to the previous seasons stars and stripes theme. The use of more delicate fabrics such as silks and silk organza gave the collection a polished feel combined with street inspired shapes such as sweatshirts and sports shorts. I also love the clever use of layering used through the collection making the pieces versatile. Here are a few of my favourite pieces of the collection- definitely need to get my hands on the silk organza Madonna piece!           Givenchy is one of my favourite designers as they have got the combination of street wear and high fashion down to a tee; this collection was no different. My job is very unpredictable and I was reminded of this when I got a phone call during my nap at about 3pm telling me that I was going to Germany in a few hours time for two days and that I must head to the airport ASAP. I'm in my house clothes, prescription have a war going on inside my womb and can faintly hear my brother throwing up from food poisoning but I must pack my suitcase and head to Gatwick straight away. This is normal. I felt bad as my mum and I had planned to watch a film but I just dropped her the text she was so used to seeing "hi mum will be on my way to Germany when you get home! Will be back on Friday. Sorry about the film, store love ya x".Landed in Germany at around 9pm and got a taxi to my hotel/ apartment and fell straight asleep! People always assume that every place a model stays is glamorous but as an up and coming model this is never really the case; below is a picture of my room- pretty normal right?

I was shooting Esprit online which is one of my regular clients which was booked through my German modelling agency, view Pro Mod. Afterwards I headed to my agency on the bus to meet with Alina who works at the agency and we had dinner at this amazing steak house called Block House.

Super German couple on the bus ride to my agency.

me trying Filet Mignon for the first time.

Alina's dog Yumi eating my shoelace during the meal!

When shooting online shops the set up is pretty simple; a white background and lighting. The team is comprised of a photographer, shoot coordinator who will check the images as they come through, stylists and their assistant, make-up artist, hairdresser and of course me! I start work at 8am on this job which means hair and make-up for an hour the shooting until 5pm. I have an hours lunch and two breaks during the day. On the last day I'll do my job then get a taxi to the airport and get my flight back to England. I got my dad to pick me up but couldn't find him for about 45 minutes so was out in the cold looking for him... he went to the wrong terminal.

Where I spend the day.
