I had a really out of the ordinary Saturday this week as I was invited to watch the Barclays ATP tennis tournament that was being held at the o2 Arena. With big names such as Andy Murray and Roger Federer there I was super excited to take my mum to experience this game live! I've always loved tennis and used to train so it was really nice to finally see a match live. Me and my mum enjoyed chilling in the Lacoste V.I.P lounge and eating delicious appetisers and there was also an acoustic performance by artist Jacob Banks which was brilliant. I happened to bump into the super talented music artist Wretch32 who watched the match with us and is also a really nice guy; I hope I didn't offend him too much when I started the conversation with "hi, discount you look like my Dad." The match itself was exhilarating and fast pace with some theatrical moves pulled out by Federer and some 125mph serves from Del Potro. Even though Federer took the lead and was egged on relentlessly by the crowd he just couldn't maintain his lead and eventually lost the match! I think this was due to the fact that during the interval they never put the camera on me and my mum to see the cool dance moves we had planned; instead they put crappy kids with their faces painted and disorientated grannies on the big screen. It took me about three months to find these babies after seeing a beautiful pair on tumblr; When it comes to finding vintage pieces you have to be patient and also very creative. My first step was to scour eBay and search every single page for Chanel Boots, patient Chanel shoes, viagra 100mg Chanel footwear etc. Then I googled Chanel boots/ Vintage Chanel boots and went through the first few pages on google to see what came up. You'd be surprised at how hideous some Chanel footwear actually is! This lead me to a video of a woman who sold these AMAZING knee high gold initial capped military boots- but she had sold them a few months before on eBay so I was gutted but at least I knew that the boots existed! I began searching on websites such as Malleries who specify in selling authentic designer stuff- like eBay but they actually authenticate the items for you so theres no need to worry about the fake stuff. I found a red pair of chanel boots on there but I didn't want to look like a Tweenie. Finally I discovered the website Verstaire Collective and once again went through every page of Chanel boots. This is where I found my babies for a decent price of around £300- expensive I know but considering how rare they are I think its a great find!
